Dame Kieu Chinh is a legendary Vietnamese American actress with nearly seven decades of international contributions. She has over 100 TV and film credits such as HBO Max/A24’s The Sympathizer, Apple TV+’s Sinking Spring, The Neighborhood, NCIS: Los Angeles, ER, Dynasty, The Letter, and M*A*S*H and the upcoming film My Eyes, 21, Finding Julia, Journey from the Fall, The Joy Luck Club, The Green Dragon, and City of Angels.
Kieu-Chinh has been recognized with numerous accolades & awards throughout her career including Best Actress of South Vietnam (1969), Asian Film Festival in Taipei (1972), Cinema Delle Donne Film Festival in Italy (2003), Lifetime Achievement Award from: Vietnamese International Film Festival (2003), San Diego Film Festival (2006) and San Francisco Film Festival of the Globe (2015), Asian World Film Festival (2021, 2022). The documentary “Kieu-Chinh: A Journey Home” by Fox TV earned an Emmy Award in 1996. In 2023, Kieu-Chinh was invested as a Dame of the Equestrian Order of Archangel.
