Showtime gives series order for drama pilot “Yellowjackets”

Allen Edelman Management is happy to announce Steven Krueger’s latest project, Showtime’s pilot Yellowjackets, from writers Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, Entertainment One and studio-based producer Drew Comins, has been given a series order.

Showtime’s greenlight of Yellowjackets marks the second series Steven has joined this year, having recently joined the cast of Roswell, New Mexico for its 3rd season.

These two major roles are very contrasting and creatively challenging. They provide a wonderful opportunity for this rising star to showcase his talents to the diverse audiences tuning into The CW and Showtime, respectively.

Jonathan Lisco (Animal Kingdom, Halt and Catch Fire) has come on board as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside creators/executive producers Lyle and Nickerson on the series, which stars Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Ella Purnell, Sammi Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Sophie Nélisse, Steven Krueger and Jasmin Savoy Brown.

Production will start early next year in Vancouver for a 2021 debut on the network.

Steven is best known for his role as Josh Rosza on all five seasons of The Originals. Other credits include the Sony feature Goosebumps and the male-lead opposite Sarah Hyland in the Independent feature Satanic. His TV credits include a series regular role on Roswell, New Mexico for The CW, recurring roles on Pretty Little Liars for ABC Family, Workaholics for Comedy Central, as well as Two And A Half Men, NCIS, and Hawaii Five-O for CBS, and Good Trouble on ABC Freeform..

Steven is represented by Todd Eisner of A3 Artists Agency and Chi Lo of Allen Edelman Management.
